Family Counseling
Family counseling is a process in which members of a family system work together with a skilled therapist to improve relationships within the system. Oftentimes, the therapist will meet with smaller groups within the family to identify patterns and cycles that may contribute to the system as a whole. The focus of family counseling is often bringing the entire family system together to understand each other’s perspectives, learn healthy communication skills, and rework old patterns into healthier ones.
